Here's an article from the BBC that you must read. I was here! This guy was ON TOP of the London Eye, which is something like 24 stories tall.
Protester on London Eye
I also got to see a huge boat race on the River Thames, went to the Tate Modern Art Gallery, saw the Clink Prison Museum, and had dinner in Chinatown. It was a really eventful day, and every bit of it was great. I'm exhausted!

Hey far-away friend! De-light-ful writings thus far...very full of word pictures and Whit-icisms. Would love to get together for a 1-on-1...how about we meet next weekend while you're in Paris? The Musee d'Orsay is one of my favorite places on the planet, and it has a nice little cafe on the top floor just past the Lautrec paintings I think. I'll meet you by Whistler's Mother - which was on the ground floor my last visit...okay? Say half past noon on Saturday? Ah well...at least imagine me there with you if you go (and you really should - it's way better than the Louvre). Miss you and Maike to pieces - I keep finding her stuff stashed all over my house (not to worry, I've been selling it off bit by bit). Love you both! Heather
